My birth story….
Wednesday, October 26th, 2005Our dearest Lovelle has finally arrived on her expected datedue 24/10!
Below is a time record of Lovelle’s birth:-D
22/10 Checkup at gynae’s clinic, went through CTG examination, gynae observed mild contractions
24/10 @1am Went toilet, found blood spots, follow by short contraction every few minutes. Thought of taking a sleep and wait till morning to come. However contractions become more painful, decided not to wait. So i took a bath while my sweet mom cooked fried rice and yangsheng water for me (thanksful for it, i haf no food for 13hrs afterwhich,gosh!)
4am Nurse checked my condition. Found to be 1cm dilated only, oh my god, she said still a long way to go….(fyi, we need to be 10cm dilated before we can start pushing)
4am-10.28am Suffering, struggle, cry. It is realli realli soooo painful….
10.28am Gynae finally arrived and examine my condition. Found to be 4cm dilated only. Immediately ask for Epidural. Gynae’s words have encouraged me to go on….
11.06am My saviour-Epidural is here. Just 10mins later, i haf total relief! It realli helped and i glad i had it.
2.30pm Nurse came in to examine. Found to be 9cm dilated. Yeah ready to go. See the midwife and nurse busily preparing for the actual delivery of my bb.
2.50pm Midwife wants me to start pushing "keep going keep going" "push harder harder harder". Head can be seen slightly. Call for gynae.
3.40pm Lovelle finally popped!!!!! Hurray!!!!
